Access to Success Scholarship

PTCC is proud to offer its students, who otherwise would not be able to afford the expenses of college, the Access to Success Scholarship which will cover any remaining tuition and fees after the student’s Federal Pell Grant and MN State Grant have been applied to the student’s account. Additionally, this scholarship offers up to a $1,000 stipend for books, tools and supplies at Pine Technical and Community College (PTCC).

Student EligibilityApplicants must be a MN Resident, enrolled in a high growth, high demand PTCC qualified program of study (listed above), be authorized to work in the United States, and must be part of one of the following target populations. Students must be an:

  1. Individual of color;
  2. Individual lacking stable housing;
  3. Individual with a criminal record;
  4. Individual with disabilities;
  5. Individual who has been unemployed for 15 or more of the past 52 weeks;
  6. Individual with limited English or math proficiency; or
  7. Individual at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline.

Applying for the ScholarshipTo apply for the 2018-2019 academic year, follow these steps:

  1. Complete Access to Success Student Application
  2. Complete 2018-2019 FAFSA at www.fafsa.gov
  3. Meet eligibility requirements outlined above
