Unfortunately, two days is not enough time to prepare you for your exam while teaching all the fundamentals of boiler operations at the same time so you should look at the class as an exam prep only. The exam preparation seminar will cover the information needed to pass your exam. However, if you would like additional study materials, we recommend the following books and/or workbooks:
Our classrooms are designed to promote a comfortable learning environment. Many visual aids are integrated into our curriculum.

What is a manufacturing boot camp?
A manufacturing boot camp is a fast-track, short-term training program that offers employers or jobseekers training in workplace skills and techniques, while addressing skill gaps and helping prepare them for employment in the manufacturing industry.
Why are manufacturing boot camps a good option for employers?
Employers are recognizing manufacturing boot camps as a simple and effective way to help new employees with basic manufacturing skills. Because boot camps are developed to align with high-growth industries such as manufacturing, they are providing employers with a much-needed pipeline to help employees with soft skills and a basic understanding of technical skills.
The boot camp curriculum also focuses on how to be a successful employee in the industry, reinforcing the importance of arriving to work on time, working as part of a team, and focusing on each team member’s role in the quality of the products produced.
To help with the skills gap in the manufacturing industry Pine Technical & Community Colleges CECT Division has created a Manufacturing Bootcamp for New Hires. These courses are directed towards New Hires or employees that may need to “Sharpen their Skills” in the following areas:
*These courses are also a “quick glance” into the Live Online Courses that we have offered at our campus for several years now. The Live Online Courses are a series of courses that align with the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technology credential.*
Please take a look at the attached flyer regarding the Manufacturing Bootcamp for New Hires.
