Welcome back! Rum River Construction Consultants is excited to continue partnering with Pine Technical & Community College to offer in-depth, quality education for MN Licensed Contractors and Code Officials. This year's 7-hour seminar will focus on one hour of Energy Conservation, one hour of Business Management Strategies to satisfy DLI licensing requirements. Other topics presented in this year's interactive session will include administrative requirements of the MN Residential Code, licensing requirements for residential contractors and remodelers, Beering Pin Piers as an alternate to conventional concrete deck footings and handling and installaiton provisinos for metal plate connected wood trusses.

Location: Pine Innovation Center on the PTCC campus. The building is located on the corner of Hillside and Main Street in Pine City, directly across the street from Spire Credit Union. This course is also offered via zoom. A link will be provided to you prior to the beginning of class.

ServSafe
Learn to implement essential food safety practices and create a culture of food safety. ServSafe is a national certification program through the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation.
ServSafe Food Manager for Minnesota requires an 8-hour class and successful passage of an exam. Upon completion of this course, participants receive a ServSafe certificate of passage and are certified for five years.
Our program provides classroom instruction to help students prepare to take the ServSafe Food Protection Certification Exam. Teaching methods include: Powerpoint & DVD as well as lecture from the instructor. Students will take the exam onsite at the end of the course.
