Frandsen Family Foundation Scholarship

2021 graduates of Braham, Frederic, Luck and Rush City High Schools,

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation and the amazing opportunity the Frandsen Family Foundation has provided for you! We would love to show you what makes Pine Technical & Community College a special place. We will also help you complete a college application and the FAFSA required for the scholarship.

Applying for the Scholarship: To apply for the 2021-2022 academic year, student must complete the application below and the 2021-2022 FAFSA.

Amount of Scholarship: This scholarship will cover any remaining tuition and fees after the student’s Federal Pell Grant and MN State Grant have been applied to the student’s account. Up to $1,000 for books, tools, and supplies will be available.  

Student Eligibility: Be enrolled in a certificate, diploma, or associate degree at PTCC, beginning in the semester following receipt of high school diploma from Braham, Frederic , Luck or Rush City High School.  

First Year Scholarship: Student must complete a 2020-2021 FAFSA and enroll full-time (minimum 12 credits per semester) in a PTCC certificate, diploma, or associate degree program.  

Second Year Scholarship: The Scholarship will be renewed for the 2021-2022 academic year if the student meets the following conditions and guidelines:

  • Successfully complete 24 credits during the 2020-2021 academic year
  • Achieve a minimum GPA of 2.5 at the end of 2020-2021 academic year
  • Required to meet with academic advisor each semester
  • Students are required to complete First Year Experience course
