PINE CHILDREN’S EARLY LEARNING CENTER

Pine Children’s Early Learning Center, a licensed child care center located on the PTCC campus, is available to the public and especially convenient for PTCC students and staff. PCELC provides preschool programming for children 16 months-12 years old. In addition, we have wrap around child care services to meet the needs of families with parents who are working or going to school. The health and safety of our environment is a priority. Classrooms are filled with age appropriate, engaging learning activities throughout the day.

Enrollment and Costs

Program will be licensed for 16 months -12 years old.

Registration information is available by calling 320-629-5147 or visiting Pine Children’s Early Learning Center on campus.

Family Enrollment Fee: $50.00

Technology fee $60 each September or prorated at enrollment.

  • Full Day: $43.00
  • Half Day: $33.00
  • More than 9 hours: $5 additional

Full Day is considered five hours or more; additional charges may apply when scheduling more than 10 hours a day. 

  • Full Day: $40.00
  • Half Day: $30.00
  • More than 9 hours: $5 additional

  • Before School: $10.00
  • After School: $15.00
  • Before & After School: $20.00
  • Full Day: $35.00 + $5 if over 9 hours

$1/minute late fee applies when over 10 hour maximum or after business hours.

Pine Children’s ELC, LLC is proud to be a 4 Star Parent Aware Center! 

  • We partner with Lakes and Pines Head Start program and dual enroll children, offering additional services within our preschool program. (extra individualization, family resources etc.)
  • Offer preschool programming that includes goal setting, observations and parent input to meet the needs of each individual child.  
  • Our Educated Staff have degrees in Early Childhood or are in the process of obtaining education in Early Childhood Education.  
  • We participate in the Child & Adult Food program (CACFP) to ensure we are offering healthy options and meeting nutritional needs throughout our day (This includes providing a breakfast, lunch and snack daily)  
  • To help families lower costs we accept funding from the Early Learning Scholarship programs through our Parent Aware Rating, Child Care Grants through PTCC for students at the college, County assistance funding and enhancement funds from Head Start first help pay tuition when a child is dual enrolled.  
  • We partner with PTCC Early Childhood and Nursing programs to give students hands-on experience with planning & implementing age appropriate activities and observing children to learn more about development.  
  • We pride ourselves on ratios (staff:child) that are lower than State requirements!
  • Parent involvement is important to us!  PCELC partners with Head Start to offer a Parent Meeting for all families monthly, along with sending home monthly family projects that we display at the center and regular newsletters; sharing what we have been working on, activity ideas for extending what we are learning at school and a variety of resources.
