STUDENT LIFE

The purpose of student life on campus is to promote positive, inclusive opportunities and experiences to enrich a student’s professional, academic, and personal development. Pine strives to engage all students during their time at PTCC. 

Student Activities occur outside of the classroom. These events help bring students and faculty together, let students interact in a non-formal atmosphere, and allow students to strengthen leadership and communication skills.

The Student Senate is the official governing body and the voice for all students and consists of members who conduct elections and advocate for students’ needs and concerns.

The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.
