History Transfer Pathway

ASSOCIATE OF ARTS

Explore the past to shape your future. The History Transfer Pathway AA is designed for students planning to complete a bachelor’s degree in History at a participating Minnesota State university. Credits transfer directly, allowing students to enter as juniors while strengthening research, writing, and analytical skills. This pathway builds a strong liberal arts foundation that prepares students for continued education and diverse career pathways.

 

PROGRAM FACT SHEET

Students completing this AAS will be able to:

  • search for and study various sources to investigate historical subject matter and then construct a comprehensive written narrative communicating and documenting their selected historical content;
  • also see Liberal Arts and Sciences AA Program Outcomes.

Transfer

All courses in the Transfer Pathway associate degree will directly transfer and apply to the designated bachelor’s degree programs in a related field. Universities within the Minnesota State system include: Bemidji State University, Metropolitan State University, Minnesota State University Mankato, Minnesota State University Moorhead, Southwest Minnesota State University, St. Cloud State University, and Winona State University.
