ASSOCIATE OF APPLIED SCIENCE, CERTIFICATE

Keep businesses connected and secure. PTCC’s Network Administration AAS program provides hands-on training in installing, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting computer networks and systems. Students develop strong technical problem-solving skills while working with real-world operating systems and networking equipment. Graduates are prepared for careers in network support, systems administration, or continued study in information technology.

PROGRAM FACT SHEET 3 Years, 2 Careers

Students completing this AAS will be able to:

assemble, install, configure and troubleshoot computer hardware;
install, configure, manage, and monitor popular operating systems and services;
design, install, configure, and troubleshoot information technology networks;
apply critical thinking to the resolution of technological issues faced by businesses; and
demonstrate honesty, integrity, professionalism, ethical decision making and lifelong learning while applying network administration skills to supporting users and businesses.
