Career Services can support you as you choose a goal, create a career plan and master tools to manage your career development. We strive to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to be successful in their job search by helping them develop confidence and independence in reaching their employment goals.
If you are undecided the Strong Interest Inventory Assessments can provide a starting point for discussion about possible career options. The Strong Interest Inventory (SII) compares your interests with those of people working in a broad range of occupations. A resume is a way to provide a potential employer with information about yourself. It is an opportunity to highlight your abilities, strengths, personal qualities, and skills. A resume shows how your experience and skills match a position. The purpose of a resume is to get an interview.
Student employment is a convenient way for student to get work place experience, while making money to help them with the costs of college. Student employees are paid on a bi-weekly pay period, earn $13.00 per hour, and are allowed to work up to 10 hours per week during the academic year.

Having a professional headshot is your first impression and introduction. A quality headshot will make you more appealing to recruiters and you’ll be able to present yourself as professional and friendly. Please fill out the request form below if you would like a Professional Headshot taken. Currently we are only providing headshots during the school day.
The goal of this event is to provide our students, the community, alumni, and others who are seeking degrees or careers in the health care field with the opportunity to meet and network with employers in Pine City and surrounding communities. We will have MN State transferring universities and private universities visiting for those who would like more information on advancing their education beyond PTCC. Students studying to be an Emergency Medical Technician , a Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Practical Nurse, and Registered Nurse are encouraged to attend. Students studying secondary programs that could potentially also obtain a career in the health care field are also encouraged to attend.
