We strive to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to be successful in their job search by helping them develop confidence and independence in reaching their employment goals.
Career Exploration If you are undecided the Strong Interest Inventory Assessments can provide a starting point for discussion about possible career options. The Strong Interest Inventory (SII) compares your interests with those of people working in a broad range of occupations. Handshake - Community and online Job BoardHandshake is Pine Technical and Community College’s online job board and career management platform that connects students to employers and vice versa. Find great opportunities for both to network together, attend or host career fairs, and post/review resumes and jobs! This is also where Pine Technical and Community College student worker positions are posted.
Resume & Cover Letter WritingA resume is a way to provide a potential employer with information about yourself. It is an opportunity to highlight your abilities, strengths, personal qualities, and skills. A resume shows how your experience and skills match a position. The purpose of a resume is to get an interview.

On Campus Student EmploymentStudent employment is a convenient way for student to get work place experience, while making money to help them with the costs of college. Student employees are paid on a bi-weekly pay period, earn $14.00 per hour, and are allowed to work up to 10 hours per week during the academic year.
