Textbook Information for PSEO Students

PTCC PSEO students receive required textbooks and course materials at no cost. The process for ordering and returning textbooks depends on your high school and how you participate in PSEO.

Students attending the schools listed below should first check with their high school counselor before ordering textbooks, as some schools place orders on behalf of students.

If your school orders textbooks for students, your counselor will provide instructions. If your school does not order textbooks, you will order through the PTCC Campus Store.

Students attending schools not listed above, including homeschool students, should order required textbooks through the PTCC Campus Store after registering for classes.

When ordering textbooks:

  • Use your class schedule to verify course numbers and sections.
  • Order only required textbooks and course materials.
  • Review your PTCC email regularly for updates and communications.
  • Important: PSEO students should not enter credit card information when ordering textbooks. Required textbooks and course materials are covered through the PSEO program. Adding a personal payment method may result in charges to your account and could delay your textbook order.

PSEO funding covers required textbooks and course materials. However, students are responsible for supplies, tools, uniforms, and equipment that become their personal property.

Examples may include:

  • Art kits
  • Dissection kits
  • Uniforms
  • Tools used in technical programs
  • General school supplies

If the cost of required supplies creates a financial barrier, students are encouraged to contact the Director of Dual Enrollment to discuss available options.

Students who receive textbooks through their high school should return materials according to their school’s procedures.

Students who receive textbooks through the PTCC Campus Store should follow Campus Store return procedures and return materials by the designated deadline.

Failure to return textbooks may result in replacement charges and may affect future textbook orders.

Textbook ordering processes may vary by school and are subject to change. If you are unsure where to order or return your textbooks, contact your high school counselor or email pseo@pine.edu for assistance.
