Understanding Your Financial Aid Award
This guide is intended to help you understand your financial aid award and the various funds you may have been awarded, how to apply for work-study and loans, charge books, and other financial aid related information & processes. All awards are considered estimates until disbursed.
On eServices, navigate to the Financial Aid section of the left menu and select “Awards by Credit Level.”
The awards are listed in a table format just like in the example below. Fund types are listed along the left, and enrollment levels are listed along the top. The award amount, in dollars, is listed where the fund and enrollment intersect. If a fund type is not listed, then you are not eligible for that fund.
NEW 26-27: Federal Direct loan eligibility will be reduced for students attending less than full time. You can read more about this change and others for 26-27 here. Awards by Credit Level is not currently accurate for this; at 9-11 credits and 6-8 credits it will not be the full eligibility you see in your table.
Example
| Fall Credits | 12-99 | 9-11 | 6-8 | 1-5 |
| Unsub Federal Direct Loan | $2750 | $2750 | $2750 | $0 |
Awards by Credit Level is not currently accurate for the Direct Loan eligibility changes. In the example above, this student will not be eligible for the full $2750 if they are enrolled in between 9-11 credits or 6-8 credits.
